Victoria also joined our practice in October 2013.  She has previously worked as a yard manager and as a nurse at Liphook Veterinary Hospital.  Victoria works closely with the equine vets to ensure the best standards of care are given to our inpatients and is also a keen rider holding her BHS Stage 4 so also assists with lameness workups/groundwork and riding. Victoria has a degree in Equine Sports Science and currently in the middle of gaining her qualification as a fully qualified nurse. In her spare time she enjoys riding her new horse, Lennie, as well as home baking and being a keen photographer.

Freddie Herbert

Freddie joined our Towcester practice as one of our customer service apprentices in June 2014, after completing her BTEC National Diploma in Animal Welfare at Moulton College. Whilst on our admin team, her role included organising the reporting of blood results, as well as booking in appointments.  Freddie has since moved onto our nursing team and is about to embark on gaining her qualifications to become a fully qualified nurse. She assists in all aspects of the daily routine at the clinic. In her spare time she enjoys running, as well as competing on her own horses.

Jane Kang

Trainee Equine Veterinary Technician

Jane initially trained as a human nurse and fascinated with medical technology, later became an electronics design engineer. This step took her into customer service consultancy, however, in April 2014 she joined Towcester Equine Vets to fulfil a long-held ambition to combine her passion for horses with her love of nursing. Her experience with horses is rooted in the racing and hunting world, however now Jane and her husband own 4 polo ponies and have been members of Rugby Polo Club based at Onley since it started 15 years ago. Away from horses, Jane holds a pilot’s licence, shoots and loves working her gun dogs. Jane will predominantly be based at Onley Equine Vets.

Harriet Bristow

Equine Nursing Assistant

Harriet is joining our equine nursing team here at Towcester Equine Vets as of October 2016. Having graduated from Aberystwyth University with a degree in Equine Studies, her passion for the reproduction side of her course grew thanks to a fantastic lecturer and she has now recently completed her Artificial Insemination course. She has her own horse called Maddie who she show jumps regularly, and ever since she was 3 years old, Harriet has loved being around horses! Previously, Harriet has worked on an international showjumping yard and in 2012 she also travelled to China; taking part in a volunteering scheme to aid with panda conservation. As well as riding, Harriet is a big fan of skiing!

He started with us in January 2017 with a variety of roles: our stallion handler and nursing assistant.  Otti has worked alongside horses for over 15 years, breaking in showjumping horses and pushing them through the levels right up until Grand Prix whilst based in Italy.
