The Towcester Farm Vets team is highly experienced in dealing with alpacas and llamas, and for many years has worked alongside a wide range of camelid herd sizes and types to improve herd health and productivity, and tackle their veterinary problems. Camelid work at the practice is headed up by our resident camelid expert Rebecca, who after two years of further study has been awarded the RCVS Certificate in Camelid Practice (CertAVP(CP)).
We provide a high quality, bespoke service to all our clients, whether you have a large breeding herd or are the proud owner of a smaller herd of pet animals. Our farm team incorporates members of the British Veterinary Camelid Society, and together we ensure that our camelid service
is available to our clients 24/7.
Towcester Farm Vets supply veterinary services to camelid clients across
Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Warwickshire and Oxfordshire,
and are keen to work with you to reduce the likelihood and occurrence of common
problems wherever possible, and help optimize the health and performance of your
herd. We therefore offer advice and hold client meetings on a range of issues from
reproduction, through cria care and on to adulthood.
