Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon – Part Time

Small Animal

33 days left

Permanent, Monday – Friday

Salary dependent on skills and experience.

Exciting part time opportunity to join our fantastic and knowledgeable vet team!  This role could fit in with school hours if required and could be worked through a permanent contract or on zero hours basis if you are looking for more flexibility.

The position is for consults only, with some vaccination clinics/sick animals also.  Our Practice has 3 Small Animal clinics, and you could be based predominantly at one clinic if preferred, or a combination of sites.

We are an RCVS accredited, independent practice with a friendly team dedicated to delivering great service with a personal touch.  We pride ourselves on the relationships we build with our clients, and so effective communication is key, along with professionalism, a good work ethic and strong time management skills.  You must feel comfortable working flexibly and adapting to changing priorities as they occur with a can-do attitude, and ideally a sense of humour!  We encourage a collaborative approach with all members of our team including nursing and support staff.  You can find out more about us and our team by visiting our website

The successful applicant will have a degree in veterinary surgery and membership of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, plus the right to work in the UK.  We are flexible!  We are happy to consider both recently qualified and more experienced Veterinary Surgeons (a good attitude and ability is more important than time in practice).

We will offer a competitive salary as part of the remuneration package – benefits include Private Healthcare, generous CPD allowance, RCVS fees paid and staff discount.

To be considered for this role please submit your CV plus a covering letter outlining why you are interested in joining our Practice, your preferred work pattern and salary expectations to Sue Adams, HR Manager

We are committed to equality of opportunity for all and welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds.
