All UK vets have a duty of care to British wildlife. If you find a sick or injured wild animal please contact the surgery for further advice.
Orphaned or abandoned?
Many young wild animals are brought to the surgery as being abandoned or orphaned. However, a good proportion of these are still generally under the care of their parents, with whom certainly they have the best chance of survival.
If you are concerned about a young animal please telephone the surgery BEFORE moving it, or please either contact the RSPCA or your nearest wildlife rehabilitator for advice.
