Lucy Aust

Lucy is the proud owner of Marlie, Izzie and Ali-Chi (3 chihuahuas), a rabbit, two guinea pigs, two budgies, a canary and two teenagers! She has always had a passion for the care and welfare of animals as well as a keen interest in canine behaviour, animal enrichment and scentwork. Lucy has attended a number of courses on these subjects over the past couple of years, including the achievement of the ‘Talking Dogs Scentwork Accredited Handler’ status with Izzie.

In her spare time, Lucy volunteers for Pawprints Dog Rescue. She really enjoys her role within Towcester Vets. Working as part of the nursing team, assisting in dispensary and helping run puppy parties is Lucy’s dream job.

In 2019 she achieved a Level 2 certificate in Veterinary Reception with the College of Animal Welfare. She completed her Animal Nursing Assistant qualification and then also went onto study further and is now a fully qualified RVN and a very experienced member of our team.
