Holly Burns

Holly started at Towcester Equine Vets at the beginning of 2025. She brings previous customer service experience and equine knowledge to her role as part of our Paulerspury reception team.

She lives in Milton Keynes with her husband, two children and cocker Spaniels Millie & Roxie.

In her spare time she enjoys looking after her two horses, Luna & Evie, socialising and going to the gym.

 

 

Frankie Rodford

Frankie joined the Towcester reception team in April 2022 after a change in career from working as a zoo keeper for nearly 14 years. She has vast experience with a range of very interesting animals, part of her zookeeping role also involved being responsible for specific training, continued welfare and enrichment for the animals. Frankie will be a member of our front of house team to assist with client enquiries and the diary management. In her spare time Frankie enjoys scuba diving when she’s on holiday with her family and entertaining her young daughter keeps her very busy. She has a Cat called Betty and also a tortoise called Mikey.

Milly Armistead

Milly joined the reception team at Towcester in April 2022. She is excited to gain further experience and training within our established team. Her previous experience in retail and customer facing roles, along with her passion for equine care and welfare will be hugely beneficial when assisting clients with queries and booking appointments. Milly has two of her own horses which keeps her very busy in her spare time, she loves to attend fun rides and enjoy the countryside hacking with her Arabs.

Lauren Meyler

Lauren became part of the reception team primarily based at the Onley clinic in June 2025.

With over five years of experience in customer service, she brings relevant skills and a strong knowledge base with her varied background in equine care.

Outside of work, she enjoys hacking, taking part in fun rides, and competing in dressage with Gabe, her Welsh D x Thoroughbred. She also has two mischievous dogs, Bella and Poppy, who keep her on her toes.

 

 

 

Victoria Broomfield

Victoria joined the team primarily based at Onley in January 2022. She previously worked for Towcester Equine Vets before having children, her background and experience mainly involves customer service, events and marketing. In her current role she helps all departments at Towcester Vets with marketing, social media and both internal and external events throughout the busy calendar. She still enjoys being on the front of house team at the Onley, supporting the reception team to ensure the smooth running of the Onley clinic.
Victoria has owned horses for many years and has enjoyed eventing and show jumping competitively in the past, however as a busy Mum nowadays she mainly enjoys local events and hacking/fun rides typically with both her young daughters not far behind!
In her spare time Victoria enjoys taking her daughters to Pony Club, spending time with her family dog named Oscar and riding her own horse called Tino.
Victoria also loves to lake swim and enter the odd triathlon for fun when time allows.
Victoria is also a qualified BHS approved (APC) level 3 coach and previously worked as a riding instructor in Hong Kong, she loves travelling and photography.

Emma Duffy

Emma has worked on reception at Towcester Vets across all sites since 2005, with a few breaks for children and a six year visit to Kent thrown into the mix! She has 3 black labradors, 2 cats and 4 horses! Emma’s weekends and evenings are spent eventing with her two boys, as a result she has very little time for any other hobbies.

Sarah Jacklin

Sarah joined Towcester Equine Vets in August 2015.

Sarah is a part time team member assisting our reception team with the smooth running of our Onley clinic. She has many years experience working in Veterinary practices and we are delighted to have her on our team!

Sarah has been a keen rider since the age of five and owns a horse called Joey Essex whom she is successfully competing with British Dressage. Alongside her horse, Sarah spends her time outside of work with her husband and supporting her football mad son, as well looking after her lab Paxton.

Jane Kang

Jane joined us in 2014 after a career in business and human nursing. Joining Towcester Equine fulfilled an ambition to combine her lifetime love of horses with her keen interest in all things clinical.

Jane is now a part time member of the team and primarily based at our Onley clinic assisting our reception team when required.

In her spare time, Jane is a Citizen Scientist aboard the Hebridean Whale and Dolphin Trust’s research vessel ‘Silurian’. Jane’s love of animals and wildlife has also resulted in her becoming a polar guide and historian, lecturing on Expedition ships in Antarctica where there are no horses but there are plenty of penguins!

Tessa Heathcote

Tessa has worked as a Receptionist at our small animal practice since October 2017. In April 2022 she transferred to our equine clinic at Plum Park Farm and is now a part time member of our equine reception team.

She works across both of our equine clinic locations.

Tessa is married with three grown up children, both her daughters event. She enjoys caring for her dogs & horses and has a passion for long country walks. Tessa is also very keen on travelling especially for beach holidays and new adventures.
