Independent Farm Vets in Towcester
Farming is at the heart of our local community
In 1905, Mr David Forwell founded Towcester Veterinary Centre and we have served our local farmers ever since. At this time, the primary focus of the practice was the agricultural community. Over the coming decades and as the town grew, the number of pet owners and horse owners in the area increased. With a larger client base directly on the doorstep of Towcester, the decision was made to establish a purpose-built veterinary clinic.
As the demand for services grew, the practice split into separate departments. The farm animal team is now made up of eight farm-only vets. As we are still a mixed practice, the farm team continues to benefit from the expertise of both the small animal and equine departments in complex cases.
Our experienced farm team works with everybody from large commercial businesses right through to smallholdings, providing top-quality help and advice on farm. We regularly undertake CPD, meaning that our team is up to date with the latest knowledge and current regulations.
With our 24 hour emergency service, clients have the peace of mind that they will see a familiar face at every call.
We regularly host meetings to allow opportunities for clients to discover new schemes, advice and products. Here are some more reasons to choose Towcester Farm Vets.
We know that our farming clients are the backbone of our local community. Our century-long relationship with the local businesses of Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Warwickshire and Bedfordshire enables clients, new and old, to trust our team with their animals.
