In 1905, Mr David Forwell founded Towcester Veterinary Centre and we have served our local farmers ever since. At this time, the primary focus was servicing our agricultural community. Over the coming decades and as the town grew, the number of pet owners and horse owners in the area increased. With a larger client base directly on the doorstep of Towcester, the decision was made to create the first purpose-built veterinary clinic.
The Towcester clinic had the scope to provide many farmers surrounding the town with further services. Following this, it was decided that the farm animal vet team would be solely made up of farm-specific vets. This grew from a single vet to our present day, 7 vet team.
Our experienced farm vets team can help everybody from large commercial businesses right through to smallholdings, providing top-quality help and advice on farm. We regularly undertake CPD, meaning that our team is up to date with the latest knowledge and current regulations. This allows us to accurately advise our clients and help them increase their returns.
