Farming is at the heart of our local community.
In 1905, Mr David Forwell founded Towcester Veterinary Centre and we have served our local farmers ever since. At this time, the primary focus was servicing our agricultural community. Over the coming decades and as the town grew, the number of pet owners and horse owners in the area increased. With a larger client base directly on the doorstep of Towcester, the decision was made to create the first purpose-built veterinary clinic.
The Towcester clinic had the scope to provide many farmers surrounding the town with further services. Following this, it was decided that the farm team would be solely made up of farm-specific vets. This grew from a single vet to our present day, 7 vet team.
Our experienced team can help everybody from large commercial businesses right through to smallholdings, providing top-quality help and advice on farm. We regularly undertake CPD, meaning that our team is up to date with the latest knowledge and current regulations. This allows us to accurately advise our clients and help them increase their returns.
With our 24 hour emergency service, clients have the peace of mind that they will see a familiar face at every call. We regularly host client meetings to allow opportunities for clients to discover new schemes, advice and the latest offers on nationwide services.
We know that our farming clients are the backbone of our local community. Our century-long relationship with the local businesses of Northamtponshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Warwickshire and Bedfordshire enables clients, new and old, to trust our team with their animals.
