Zone Visits
Here at Towcester Equine Vets we understand how important it is to maintain your horse in peak physical fitness no matter what chosen discipline. We can help to keep on top of your horse’s routine healthcare, saving on stress so you can enjoy your leisure time and sport.
We offer our clients a Zone Scheme to save money and keep your horse up-to-date with routine healthcare. These incur a £20 callout charge, plus the cost of the routine work in addition. If you are unable to attend the appointment, our vets are happy to meet somebody on your behalf at the yard by prior arrangement. Please keep in mind that we cannot carry out the visit without someone present.

What is a zone visit?
Your zone day is dependent on where your horse is stabled so take a look at our map below. We cover Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Warwickshire, Oxfordshire and Leicestershire.
To be able to offer these appointments on the reduced fee visit charge, our skilled administration team will plot all zone visits using the most economical route the day before your appointment. You will subsequently receive a text with the allocated appointment time for the following day.
Due to the extensive route planning involved, we are unable to reserve specific times for our clients, and are limited as to how many horses can be booked in on each appointment. These appointments are usually time sensitive, so if you require a specific time for a visit please speak with our reception team who can help you further with a routine visit where a longer visit can be planned.
What is covered on a zone visit?
Our Zone Visit scheme offers owners the perfect opportunity to have the following routine appointments completed with a minimum £20 charge:
- Vaccinations
- Prescription checks for medications
- Routine dentals (maximum of 3 horses per visit)
- Blood samples
- Microchips
- Passport paperwork
- Health checks
