Whether your pet will be staying with us for the day or longer, we want to ensure they are as comfortable as possible, and any potential stresses are minimised. Cats especially can struggle in an unfamiliar environment and in the presence of dogs.

Our Burcote Road Veterinary Hospital in Towcester has been recognised for the special care and facilities we provide for cats, including separate waiting areas and patient wards. As an ISFM Accredited Gold Standard Cat Friendly Clinic, Towcester Vets is the perfect choice for your cat’s care. Once you have booked in, you can relax with your cat in our cat-only waiting area, with a ‘cat park’, Feliway diffusers, and carrier covers.

Relaxing consultation rooms

You and your pet will feel at ease in our Vet and Nurse consultation rooms, which have been designed with a relaxed, homely feel. They are large, bright, and fully equipped to ensure your pet is comfortable whilst they receive a nose-to-tail health check or treatment from our team.

Comfortable cat & dog wards

All our branches have individual kennels of varying sizes with comfortable bedding to ensure your pet can get a good rest before and after their procedure. Our skilled Nursing team are always on hand to check on our in-patients and provide everything they need.

At our Burcote Road veterinary hospital, we ensure our patients’ comfort with Adaptil or Feliway diffusers, orthopaedic mattresses, and air-conditioning & heating units. Our dog ward also houses walk-in dog kennels for larger breeds, and we have a garden for exercising and toileting too. At Weedon and Paulerspury, our team also ensure patient comfort and welfare through, for example, separate waiting areas and air-conditioned spaces.

Isolation ward

For pets with infectious or contagious illnesses, we have an isolation ward at Burcote Road to ensure the safety of all our patients.
