Why You Need A Pet Microchip
Ensuring your pet is microchipped will greatly improve your chances of being reunited with them if they were ever to go missing. It is a legal requirement and can be completed by our nursing and veterinary team at any of our branches. It is also necessary if you plan on travelling your pet abroad.

What is a pet microchip?
Each pet microchip is approximately the size of a grain of rice. It is quickly implanted between the shoulder blades of your cat or dog using a special needle, with each chip being unique.
Once implanted, our team can register your pet on the national database, linking your pet’s identity to your own personal details. Should you ever need to update your address or contact details, you can do so using your unique login found on the documents sent to you following registration.
It is not only cats and dogs that can be microchipped. We also offer the service to other small furry creatures and birds!
If you are unsure whether your pet has a microchip, come along to our clinic where our nursing team will happily check for you.
